That the present writ petition has been preferred before this Hon'ble Court for issuance of writ, writs, order, orders, direction, directions specially a writ of mandamus directing the respondent State authorities for issuance of monthly pension as sanctioned by the State of Bihar after issuing the resolution dated 15.06.2009 as well as the same has been in the year 2011, whereby and whereunder the State Government has taken decision to provide

Patna High Court CWJC No.6151 of 2023(2) dt.17-10-2023 2/3 pensionary amount of Rs. 5,000/- and Rs. 2500/- by way of monthly pension and Parsansa Patra to the rest of 1974 J.P. Andolan Senani participated in the J.P. Andolan.

And further be pleased to amend the pensionary amount vide Government resolution dated 17.07.2015 and the pension amount has been enhanced to Rs. 10,500/- by way of monthly pension to the rest of 1974 J.P. Andolan Senani participated in J.P. Andolan.

And further be pleased to issue direction to the respondent authorities specially to the Chief Secretary, Government of Bihar, Patna and Principal Secretary, Department of Home, Government of Bihar, Patna as well as the Chairman, Advisory Council functioning in the State of Bihar for the purpose of redressal of grievances of 1974 J.P.Andolan Senani.

And further be pleased to pass such order, orders as your Lordships may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case in accordance with law."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
