SINHA) Date: 10-02-2015 Learned counsel for the parties state that Coal Block allocated to the State of Bihar by the Government of India has been cancelled in the light of the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court rendered in the case of Manohar Lal Sharma Versus Principal Secretary and others, (2014) 9 Supreme Court Cases 516, 614. In the circumstances, any proceeding including contempt proceeding and the present Letters Patent Appeals, which are arising out of the said contempt proceeding has become infructuous.
In view of the statement made at the Bar, we permit the
Patna High Court LPA No.731 of 2013 dt.10-02-2015 3/3 appellants to withdraw both the appeals, which are, accordingly, disposed of.
