The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "i. For issuance of appropriate writ(s) order(s) and direction to respondents to implement their own letter dt. 17.05.2013/24.03.2014 (Annexure-1 & 5 respectively) by which petitioner was assured that his withheld amount is under process of payment, but till date the same has not been paid to him due to colorable exercise of power on the part of respondents. ii. For issuance of appropriate writ, order and direction(s) to respondents to make payment without further loss of time, since almost one and half years has already been elapsed after

Patna High Court CWJC No.18861 of 2014(2) dt.02-08-2023 2/2 issuance of Annexure- 1 dt. 17.05.2013.

iii. For issuance of appropriate writ, order and direction(s) to respondents to make payment of amount to this petitioner with statutory as well as penal interest from the date on which it fell due to the date of actual payment and further respondents may kindly be directed to pay litigation cost also."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
