The petitioner seeks bail in Kishanganj Mahila P.S. case No. 25 of 2018 registered under Section 342, 497, 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
The petitioner is the husband of informant. The wife made allegation of demand of dowry and torture. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that wife of the petitioner made allegation that petitioner subjected her to all sorts of physical and mental torture due to non fulfillment of demand of dowry and the wife suspected that petitioner had illicit
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.61398 of 2018 (2) dt.06-10-2018 2/2 relation with his sister-in-law but for that the petitioner is in custody since 28.05.2018.
Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that petitioner has remained in jail for more than four months, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kishanganj in connection with Kishanganj Mahila P.S. case No. 25 of 2018.
