2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Riga P.S. Case No. 476 of 2025, dated 12.12.2025, registered for the offence under Sections 115(2), 126(2), 109, 304(2), 351(2), 352, 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant, on 11.12.2025, at 10:00 PM, was going to his house on a motorcycle with a cash of Rs.6,570.00, all of a sudden 5-6 persons came near his bike, started abusing him and caught hold him by his collar and snatched the cash of Rs.6,570.00 from his pocket. The informant identified this petitioner and co-accused Shubham Kumar. It is alleged that the petitioner twisted the hands of the informant and snatched Rs.6,570.00 from his pocket, while co-accused Shubham Kumar assaulted by means

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 13.12.2025 and he has got no criminal antecedents and in fact there was dispute as regards parking of the vehicle and it is not alleged that any of the accused persons were carrying arms or any lethal weapon and it has been stated in paragraph 13 of the application that the injuries caused to the informant were simple in nature. It is further submitted that while there is allegation of snatching of Rs.6,570.00, but there is no recovery from the possession of the petitioner and the petitioner is a young student and his continued custody will jeopardize his career.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the, above named, petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM-I, Sitamarhi, in connection with Riga P.S. Case No. 476 of 2025.
