JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 07-02-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with a case registered under Sections 341, 323, 324, 326, 307 and 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
There is allegation against the petitioner that he intended to give sickle blow on the neck of the informant but it hit his hand which was amputed.
It is submitted that due to some political rivalry, the petitioner was falsely implicated and the injury is not on the neck. There appears specific allegation against the petitioner of causing grievous injury leading to amputation of his left hand so his prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5563 of 2017 (2) dt.07-02-2017 2/2 However, the petitioner may surrender before the court below and seek regular bail and the same shall be disposed of without being prejudiced by this order.
