Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this court vide order dated 11.3.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 5420/2016 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after six months, if his trial is not concluded within the above stated period. Trial court has reported that up till now, only one prosecution witness could be examined and trial of the petitioner is still pending for recording the statement of rest prosecution witnesses. No doubt, petitioner carries criminal antecedent but in the present case, he is in jail custody for more than one year and there is no likelihood of conclusion of trial of the petitioner in near future. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on
