BAJANTHRI ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 06-12-2021 Heard learned counsels for respective parties. In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- "For issuance of a writ of mandamus or any other writ, direction, order or orders commanding the respondents to issue and hand over the bachelor of Honours (Chemistry) degree to the petitioner at once."

The grievance of the petitioner is for entitlement of Bachelor of Honours (Chemistry) degree or not? Learned counsel for the petitioner has approached the fourth respondent in submitting representation as is evident from

Patna High Court CWJC No.16720 of 2021 dt.06-12-2021 2/2 Annexure-7 dated 14.08.2021. Till date, the fourth respondent has failed to respond over accepting or rejecting the grievance of the petitioner.

In the light of these facts and circumstances, first respondent is not necessary a proper party, accordingly, the name of the first respondent-State is deleted from the proceedings. Fourth respondent is hereby directed to redress the grievance of the petitioner in the light of Annexure-7 as to whether the petitioner is entitled to Bachelor of Honours (Chemistry) degree or not. In this regard, speaking order should be passed by the respondent no. 4 as to whether petitioner is entitled or not. If he is entitled the same shall be redressed within a period of two weeks from the date of date of receipt of this order. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed off.
