The petitioner is in custody since 18.07.2016 in connection with Kateya P.S. Case No. 164 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(A) of the Excise Act and Section 57 of New Excise Act, 2016.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the alleged recoveries were not made from his conscious possession. In view of the period of custody and the nature of allegations, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief
