Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case P.S. Case No. 1684 of 2015, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498 (A) and 406 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioner is the husband of opposite party no. 2 Farjana Khatoon.

As per allegation, the petitioner and his family members

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17895 of 2020(10) dt.27-09-2022 2/2 tortured her for non-fulfillment of dowry demand. The learned counsels for the petitioner and the complainant are in appearance. They apprised that both the parties have compromised in Mediation Centre and as per terms and conditions of the compromise, the petitioner has paid Rs. 1,50,000/- to the complainant.

Considering the fact that both the parties have compromised the case, let the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Complaint Case P.S. Case No. 1684 of 2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time provided in para-1 hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) kundan/-HR U T
