The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Complaint Case No. 1662(C)/2016, registered under Sections 467, 468, 471, 420 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Precisely, the prosecution case is that the petitioner by impersonation got the sale deed executed in respect of the land of the informant in which fictitious persons became witness. Besides opposing the prayer for anticipatory bail on merit, Mr. Choubey has pointed out that a wrong statement has been made by the petitioner that he has no criminal antecedent. He produced a certified copy of the order passed in Cr. Misc. No. 27172/2017

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17111 of 2017 (7) dt.10-08-2017 2/2 preferred by the present petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case with similar/identical allegation (s). Considering the case in the light of relevant materials available on record and also the fact that there is suppression of the antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail.
