The petitioner seeks bail in Ramnagar P.S. Case No. 248 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 37(B)(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The wife of the petitioner is the informant of this case. Allegedly, the petitioner came to the house in drunken condition and assaulted the informant.

Learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioner, submits that the informant after having realized the consequences of filing the FIR, has filed a petition before the court below, stating that good relationship between the petitioner and the informant has been restored.
