The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.1787 of 2015 registered under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code besides Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The accusation is of torturing the complainant/opposite party no.2 by her husband (petitioner) and other in-laws due to non fulfillment of the dowry demand of cash Rs.10,00,000/-, car

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5840 of 2017 (4) dt.17-08-2017 2/2 and A.C. and removing her and her child from the matrimonial house by snatching her personal belongings.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that while the petitioner and the complainant-opposite party no.2 assembled to settle the dispute in between them but due to hot exchange of words in between them, no fruitful result came out. Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender by him within eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-IV, Gaya, in connection with Complaint Case No.1787 of 2015, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
