4. It appears on perusal of the writ application that

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1033 of 2026(2) dt.13-05-2026 2/3 the corpus is issue-less. She is the sister of the grand-mother of this petitioner. The petitioner is alleging that she has been illegally confined by the Respondent Nos.8 and 9, who are her tenants. It is alleged that they are attempting to grab her properties.

5. It is stated in paragraph no.10 of the writ application that Smt. Kamla Devi (corpus) has submitted a written application before the Superintendent of Police, Saran at Chhapra on 04.09.2024 vide Annexure-P/1 series. The Respondent Nos. 8 and 9 are said to have forcibly abducted the victim on 03.11.2025, the occurrence had been reported to the Station House Officer of Chhapra Police Station and it has also been brought to the notice of other Senior Officers. It is also alleged that Respondent No.7, Sanjeev Kumar (S.H.O.) has acted in criminal conspiracy with Respondent Nos.8 and 9 and lodged Chhapra Town P.S. Case No.628 of 2025, whereafter the petitioner has filed a complaint Case No.2643 of 2025 in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chhapra on 07.11.2025.

6. In the nature of the pleadings present in the writ application, this Court is of the opinion that the matter having been brought to the notice of the Superintendent of Police,

WJC No.1033 of 2026(2) dt.13-05-2026 3/3 Chhapra and the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Chhapra, it is incumbent upon these Authorities to look into the matter, get verified it through a Senior Police Officer in the rank of Dy.S.P. and take an appropriate view of the same within a reasonable period.

7. Accordingly, we direct the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Chhapra and the Superintendent of Police, Chhapra to look into the application dated 03.11.2025 (Annexure-P/2 series and P/3), get the same verified and take an appropriate step in the matter within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

8. This writ application stands disposed of accordingly.
