The Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Triveniganj P.S.Case No. 284 of 2018, registered for offences punishable under Sections 25 (1-b)/26 of the Arms Act. As per F.I.R. allegation against the petitioner is of recovery of one country made musket, two live cartridges, four Khokha and one live cartridge from the possession of the petitioner. It is also alleged that one Nokia mobile and one black pulsar motorcycle has been recovered from the house of the petitioner.
Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that nothing has been recovered from the conscious

No.61815 of 2018 (2) dt.11-10-2018 2/2 possession of the petitioner and the name of the petitioner transpires only on the basis of confessional statement of one Amit Kumar and the house of the petitioner is joint house. It is further submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 24.07.2018.
Heard learned A.P.P., who opposes the prayer for bail.
Having heard both parties and in view of the discussions made above, this application is disposed of with direction to the Court below to verify the criminal antecedent of petitioner and if he has no criminal antecedent, he may be released on bail to his own satisfaction.
With the aforesaid observation, the instant petition is disposed of.
