The petitioner is in custody since 06.07.2016 in connection with Hilsa P.S. Case No. 333 of 2016, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 279 and 308/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Case diary in the present case was called for, which has since been received.
It is alleged that the petitioner was driving the motorcycle, which met with an accident and due to which some persons were injured.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is simply a case of accident and there is no criminal antecedent against the petitioner.
