1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Forest Case No. 51 of 2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 9, 44, 49(b), 50 and 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act.

3. In the nature of allegation as alleged in the FIR and also taking into consideration the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, the Court is not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner as it has been alleged that from a PACS godown, several horns of different animals were found and the Chairman of the PACS godown disclosed that the keys were with the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the present anticipatory bail application stands rejected.
