1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application for issuance of appropriate writ/order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondents Authorities for partial Amendment to the extent of Para-4 (2), (3) of Memo no.

7/C01-203/04 (Part) 603, Patna dated 12.06.2014. Further for promotion of petitioner in the pay scale of (PB4 + GP8700) and payment of all consequential benefits to the petitioner. Till then stay the operation of Memo no. P.O. (01)21/14/Est. 630 dated 14.07.2015."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.12507 of 2015(2) dt.31-08-2023 2/2 has referred to the notification dated 12.06.2014, issued by the Principal Secretary, Home Department (Prosecution Directorate) Government of Bihar, Patna to submit that the existing pay scale of the District Prosecution Officer, has been amended from PB3, G.P.-7600 to PB-4 G.P.-8700, however, the petitioner is not getting the enhanced pay scale, hence he be granted liberty to approach the respondent no.2 for redressal of his grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate representation is filed by the petitioner before the respondent no.2, within a period of four weeks from today, the respondent no.2, shall consider the same in accordance with law and pass a reasoned and a speaking order, within a period of four weeks, thereafter.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
