In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Purnea Sadar P.S. Case No. 157 of 2016 registered for offences under sections 406, 409 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is a Miller and was to return the rice proportionate to the paddy.

Allegation has been made that the huge quantity of paddy was supplied for milling to the petitioner but he did not return the rice proportionate to the paddy.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that altogether more than 50% of the alleged amount has been deposited by the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.43271 of 2016 (2) dt.05-10-2016 2/2 petitioner which has been disputed by the counsel for the opposite party.

In such view of the matter, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with Purnea Sadar P.S.
