The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus or any appropriate writ to quash the order dated 26-08-2014 passed by Respondent no. 2 by which the petitioner has been declared dis-qualified in PST in 1600 meter race held on 19-03-2014.

(ii) For issuance of an order or direction directing the respondents to conduct a fresh 1600 meter race and verify the claim of the petitioner who has qualified in 1600 meter race held on 19-03-2014."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that with the efflux of time, the present writ petition
