Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 47(a) of Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

Petitioner was caught by the police when he started fleeing throwing a jerkin in which 20 litres country made mahua liquor was found. Petitioner is in jail custody since 16.08.2016. Submission on behalf of the petitioner is that nothing was recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner and as a matter of fact, he has been implicated in this case by the police. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with
