JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 15-05-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1(i) To quash the letter no. 41/14 dated 30.9.2014 issued by police inspector cum investigating officer, vigilance investigation Bureau Patna region, Patna by which he asked the petitioner and her husband to appear physically for interrogation and adducing evidence in her defence.

ii) To direct the respondents particularly the investigating officer to drop the proceeding of Vigilance Enquiry No. RV-26/2012.

Iii) To take action against the investigating

Patna High Court CWJC No.19864 of 2014(2) dt.15-05-2024 2/2 officer and also direct him to give Rs. Five lacs as compensation for trusting the petitioner in mental strain and for lowering her prestige in the society."

Considering the nature of relief sought for in the present writ petition, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the respondent-State that the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous with the efflux of time. 3.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed.
