2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Khajauli P.S. Case No. 197 of 2023 registered under Sections 341, 323, 313, 354B, 498A, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It is alleged that petitioner along with other co-accused persons demanded a four wheeler and Rs. 10 lakh by way of dowry from the informant and when she showed her inability then all accused persons including the petitioner abused, assaulted and tortured her.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24687 of 2024(2) dt.08-05-2024 2/2 submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case due to domestic quarrel. Further submission is that petitioner is the brother-in-law of the informant. He has neither demanded dowry nor assaulted the informant. The petitioner is living with his parents separately. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

5. Learned counsel for the informant opposes the prayer for bail.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate-I, Madhubani in connection with Khajauli P.S. Case No. 197 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
