Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18136 of 2020(5) dt.08-07-2020 2/2 killed by the petitioner.
Petitioner's counsel submits that victim was having intimate relations with the petitioner which has led to his implication. It is actually a case of honour killing. There is a delay in lodging the First Information Report (for brevity, FIR). There is no blood-stained article recovered from the place of occurrence and it is a case of false implication. Learned counsel for the informant and learned APP for the State submit that motive has been clearly stated by the informant in her FIR. Victim has been recovered with stabbed wounds and strangulated. Witnesses, in the course of investigation, have stated about the petitioner's involvement. Considering the rival submission and the gravity of the allegations, this Court, for the present, is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Prayer for bail is rejected.
