This application for grant of regular bail arises out of G.O. Case No. 239 of 2020 arising out of Darbhanga Town P.S. Case No. 62 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a) and 37(b) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The petitioner is in custody since 22.02.2020. From his house, the police are said to have recovered 203.5 liters of India Made Foreign Liquor. It transpires that petitioner has criminal antecedent inasmuch as he is involved in two more cases of similar nature.

Considering the petitioner's antecedent and the quantity of illicit liquor, allegedly recovered from his house, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail.
