Petitioners seek bail in Excise Case No.841 of 2018 arising out of Jehanabad P.S. Case No.679 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a), 38, and 47 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have clean antecedents. They are in custody since 26.08.2018. It is alleged that one vehicle was apprehended by the police and 192 bottles of foreign liquor total 101.625 litres was recovered from their possession. The petitioners along with other accused persons as named in the First Information Report were found sitting in the vehicle.

Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions JudgeII, Jehanabad, in connection with Excise Case No.841 of 2018 arising out of Jehanabad P.S. Case No.679 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioners.
