JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL ORDER 31-08-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State through virtual court proceedings. Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a supplementary affidavit for correcting the age of the petitioner, submitting that due to inadvertence in party position the age of the petitioner has wrongly been mentioned as 33 years in place of 52 years.
Let it be so corrected and read accordingly to the extent as indicated above.
It appears that the petitioner was granted provisional bail for eight weeks in connection with G.O. Case No.260 of 2020, arising out of Darbhanga Town P.S. Case No.69 of 2020 registered for the offence under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Excise and Prohibition Act, 2016, pending in the Court of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19032 of 2020(4) dt.31-08-2020 2/2 learned 2ndAdditional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Darbhanga. It further appears that vide order dated 11.06.2020, the provisional bail of the petitioner was extended further till the resuming the Court proceeding in physical mode or before expiry of eight weeks period, whichever is earlier. It further appears that till today, the physical Court proceeding has not been resumed, hence the provisional bail granted to the petitioner is hereby confirmed.
