The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Dumariyaghat P.S. Case No.15 of 2018 registered for the offence under Sections 272 and 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. 2257 litres of illicit liquor was recovered from a truck. The petitioner has been named in the self-inculpatory statement of the co-accused.

Considering the huge recovery of the illicit liquor, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail. This application for anticipatory ail is dismissed.

Petitioner is directed to surrender in the court below within two weeks from today. If he does not surrender in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22901 of 2022(2) dt.06-05-2022 2/2 court below within two weeks from today, the Superintendent of Police, East Champaran, Motihari will take steps for arrest of the petitioner.
