The petitioner is in custody in connection with POCSO Case No. 24 of 2016 arising out of Mahila P.S. Case No. 32 of 2016, registered for the offence punishable under Section 376 (G) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of POCSO Act.

Having regard to the specific allegation made by the prosecutrix against the petitioner, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, prayer for bail is dismissed.

However, Court below is directed to expedite the hearing of trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of nine of months.
