2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sherghati P.S. Case No. 426 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

3. The petitioner is named in the FIR. Five countrymade pistols and illegal weapons were recovered from the house of the petitioner. The petitioner is accused of conspiring with the co-accused to illegally supply weapons and of using them to commit a major crime..

4. The petitioner is in custody since 10.10.2025. The allegations against the petitioner are serious and grave in nature. There exists prima facie material against the petitioner

5. Considering the seriousness of the allegations levelled against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected.

7. It is made clear that any observation made herein is prima facie in nature and limited solely for the purpose of adjudication of the present bail application. Such observations shall not be construed as an expression on the merits of the case and shall not influence the trial or any other proceedings in any manner.
