2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 716 of 2024 dated 30.11.2024, registered/instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 140(3), 87 read with Section 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused persons are alleged to have abducted the informant's daughter and pressurize her to marry otherwise they would kill or sell her.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20048 of 2025(3) dt.02-07-2025 2/3 the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. It is submitted that the entire allegation is against co-accused, namely, Raushan Kumar, who is the elder brother of the petitioner. It is also submitted that Raushan Kumar and the petitioner are younger brother of the husband of the elder sister of the informant. It is also submitted that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner. It is further submitted that the victim is a married girl. Further submission is that the statement of the victim has been recorded under Section 183 of the B.N.S.S. in which she has alleged only against Raushan Kumar. There is no any whisper or allegation against the petitioner in the said occurrence. Lastly, it has been submitted that he has no criminal antecedent.
5. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
6. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest / surrender of the petitioner within a period of six weeks from today, in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 716 of 2024, he shall be released on

No.20048 of 2025(3) dt.02-07-2025 3/3 anticipatory bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Purnea, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of B.N.S.S..
