This is an application for grant of regular bail for offences punishable under Section 379/411 of the Indian Penal Code.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner's name surfaced in the present case only on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused, namely, Raushan Kumar from whose possession alleged stolen motorcycle was recovered. However, the said Raushan Kumar has already been granted bail by the Court below itself and the petitioner has been languishing in judicial custody since 25.01.2016.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55218 of 2016 (2) dt.09-01-2017 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, period of detention and also that petitioner's name transpired in this case only on the basis of confessional statement of coaccused, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000 (Rs. Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai, in connection with Begusarai Town P.S. Case No. 373 of 2015 with the condition that the petitioner shall remain present during the course of trial and on failure to remain present without showing any genuine reasons, his bail bond shall be cancelled.
