Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections-47 and 51 of the Bihar Excise Act.

276 bottles containing 180 ml. each Nepali liquor are said to have been recovered from a vehicle in which, the petitioner and others were found sitting. The petitioner is languishing in jail custody since 13-07-2016 and, does not have any criminal antecedent.

Submission on behalf of the petitioner is that having more or less similar allegation, one co-accused has already been granted privilege of bail.

Considering the above-said facts and circumstances of the case as well as submission of the parties, let the petitioner

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.44725 of 2016 (2) dt.18-10-2016 2/2 named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 131 of 2016 to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-III, Supaul.
