2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Hasanganj P.S. Case No. 06/2026 dated 08.01.2026 for the offences punishable under Sections 64, 351(2), 351(3) and 352 of the B.N.S.

3. As per the prosecution case, the allegation against the petitioner is of committing rape with the victim.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case and he is in custody since 14.01.2026 and has no criminal antecedent. It is further submitted that the petitioner and the

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the submission of the petitioner, this application is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Court below for bail. If in the Court below the informant supports the contention of the petitioner, the petitioner shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned J.M.1st Class, Katihar in connection with Hasanganj P.S. Case No. 06/2026.

7. If the informant does not support the contention of the petitioner of compromise and marriage then appropriate order shall be passed.
