Petitioner is in custody in connection with Excise Case No. 184 of 2020 arising out of P.R. No. 18 of 2019-20 for the offence under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 Amended Act, 2018.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
In the instant case, the petitioner alongwith coaccused Abhiseksh Kumar @ Pappu was apprehended and from their possession huge quantity of foreign liquor was seized. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits no such occurrence has ever taken place and seizure list was not prepared in accordance with section 100 Cr. P.C.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 3rd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge,Excise, Kaimur at Bhabhua, in connection with Excise Case No. 184 of 2020 arising out of P.R. No. 18 of 2019-20 subject to the condition that on release the petitioner has to render his service for a period of three months as volunteer in Covid-19 hospital and he is required to report to the district Nodal Officer who shall utilize the service of the petitioner.
