2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 116 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 303(2), 317(2), 317(4) of the B.N.S.
3. As per the prosecution case, one Sunil Kumar was apprehended at the railway station while he was moving around in suspicious condition with green trolley bag. It has been alleged that he accepted that he had stolen that trolley bag from train and disclosed the name of his four associates, one being the petitioner who managed to escape.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. It has been submitted that petitioner was not arrested
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24058 of 2026(3) dt.14-05-2026 2/3 at the spot and nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. It has further been submitted that the name of the petitioner has transpired on the basis of confessional statement of Sunil Kumar before police. It has further been submitted that chargesheet has been submitted in this case. It has lastly been submitted that the petitioner is accused in 13 other cases in which he is on bail and he is in custody since 13.10.2025.
5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is a habitual offender involved in similar nature of cases.

Considering the aforesaid submissions of the parties and taking into account the facts and circumstance of the case, let the petitioner above-named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 116 of 2024 with the following conditions:- (i) The petitioner is directed to co-operate in the trial and be well represented on each and every date fixed in the trial and failure to appear on two consecutive dates, the court below would be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner.
