JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 07-01-2020 The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the respondent authorities to add her and her family members' name in the voter list of Ward No. 6 of village Urlaha.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that with the change in the residence and the consequent information about such change to the relevant authorities, the name of the petitioner and her family members is required to be added in the voter list of Ward No. 6. An enquiry was also conducted by the Block Development

Patna High Court CWJC No.6227 of 2019 dt.07-01-2020 2/2 Officer on the direction of the District Magistrate, Araria but till date the name of the petitioner and her family members has not been added in the voter list of Ward No. 6.

Under the aforesaid circumstances, this Court directs the petitioner to make a detailed representation before the Block Development Officer, Plasi in the district of Araria (respondent no. 4) along with all necessary documents within a period of four weeks, who on receipt of the same shall do the needful after verifying the correctness of the averments made by the petitioner in such representation.

With the aforesaid direction/observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
