2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

"(a) That letter bearing no. 1513 dated 12/06/2025 (Annexure-P/3), issued from Collectorate Bhojpur (Mining Branch), under the signature of Collector, Bhojpur at Ara, whereby and whereunder an explanation was sought from

Patna High Court CWJC No.6090 of 2026(2) dt.25-06-2026 2/3 the petitioner, for alleged irregularities, committed at Sand block Bhoj Son-39 and directed to deposit Rs. 5,41,875/- before District Mining Office, Bhojpur at Ara, as a penalty, be quashed.

(b) That an appropriate writ/writ, Order/s, direction/directions be issued directing the respondents to refund Rs.-5,41,875/-, which was deposited by the petitioner; on account of penalty, under compelling situations.

(c) Any other relief/reliefs, order/orders as Your Lordship deems fit in the interest of justice."

3. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he shall be approaching the respondent no. 2, Principal Secretary-cum-Mines Commissioner, Bihar, Patna in next four weeks.

4. Learned counsel for the Mines Department has no objection to it.

5. In that background, the writ petition stands disposed of allowing the petitioner to approach the respondent no. 2, Principal Secretary-cum-Mines Commissioner, Bihar, Patna in four weeks who shall be taking up the matter and after
