The application is for grant of bail in connection with Shastrinagar PS case no. 427 of 2016 for the offence under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, Sec. 4,5,6 and 7 of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act and Sec. 8 and 12 of POCSO Act.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner and even if the allegation in the FIR is found true, no offence is made out under POCSO and Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. It is further submitted that petitioner is in custody for three months and she is ready to abide by any condition, if imposed.

Having heard both sides. From perusal of record, it appears that there is specific allegation of flesh trading against this petitioner. As such, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, her prayer for bail rejected at this stage. However, lower court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and other accused persons in this case.
