2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Muffasil P. S. Case No. 136/2024 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a), 32, 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, 35 litres illicit liquor was recovered from the Chimni Bhatta. Petitioner is alleged to have fled away from the place of occurrence.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has been made accused only on suspicion. Petitioner is in custody since 22.01.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that petitioner has got six criminal antecedents.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and period of custody, the bail application is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Exclusive Special Excise Court No. 1, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Muffasil P. S. Case No. 136 of 2024.
