The learned counsels are appearing and making submissions from their residence. The Court Master and Secretary are also part of this virtual Court proceedings from their homes, all with the aid of audio visual technology. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and he learned APP for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Alamganj P.S. Case No.884 of 2019 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 326, 307, 354, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, which is pending in the court of learned A.C.J.M., Patna City, Patna.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18233 of 2020(6) dt.08-07-2020 2/2 The petitioner allegedly has gone to the shop of the informant and abused her. He then assaulted her staff Dina Nath Prasad with knife. He also assaulted the informant's husband with knife on his stomach and neck.

Petitioner's Counsel submits that it is a case of false implication. No such occurrence has taken place. The petitioner was arrested from his house and is in custody since 22.11.2919. Learned APP for the State has submitted that the injury report has already been received. The same shows injuries on the body of Guddu Kumar. There is direct allegation of inflicting stab wound against the petitioner. Considering the rival submissions and the gravity of the allegations, this Court is not inclined for the present to release the petitioner on bail. It is, accordingly, rejected.
