Excise officials conducted raid at the house of the petitioner wherefrom total 25.440 liter of foreign wine was seized and for that, showing the same to be under joint possession petitioner and his son has been made an accused. Furthermore, it has been submitted that since 05.04.2016 possession of foreign liquor has been banned.

Apart from having criminal antecedent, in the facts and circumstances of the case petitioner Harishankar Rai @ harishankar pd. Yadav @ Harishankar Prasad is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned ACJM, Sikrahna at Dhaka, Motihari in connection with Excise Case No.12 of 2016.
