Petitioner is in custody in connection with Chhatapur P.S. Case No. 370 of 2018 for the offence under sections 401, 413, 414, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Name of the petitioner surfaced on the confessional statement of co-accused Santosh Sardar.
Learned counsel submits that petitioner is in custody since 29.12.2018.
Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he has remained in custody for nearly three months in a case where his name surfaced on the confessional
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18945 of 2019(2) dt.28-03-2019 2/2 statement of co-accused, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-IV, Supaul, in connection with Chhatapur P.S. Case No. 370 of 2018.
