ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL ORDER 09-09-2015 The petitioners who are in-laws seek quashing of the order of cognizance dated 11.04.2011 passed by the SubDivisional Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran in Complaint Case No. 2305C of 2010.
The case of the complainant is that she was married to the petitioner on 28.05.2006 on which occasion large number of gifts were given to the in-laws. However, the in-laws started torturing her for demand of additional dowry and on none fulfillment of the same, she was finally ousted from the matrimonial home upon which the present complaint has been filed.
Considering the compromise which has been arrived at
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.44065 of 2014 (6) dt.09-09-2015 2/2 between the spouses as noted in the connected file, the order of cognizance dated 11.04.2011 passed by the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran in Complaint Case No. 2305C of 2010 is hereby set aside. The application stands allowed.
