======================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE JUSTICE SMT. ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 26-06-2015 The Petitioner seeks revision of the judgment of conviction dated 16.09.2003 passed by the 6th Additional Sessions Judge, West Champaran at Bettiah in Criminal Appeal No. 6-C of 2001, by which he has affirmed the judgment dated 27.01.2001 passed by the Judicial Magistrate, Bagaha in Tr. No. 304 of 2000 (Tr. No. 170 of 2001), by which he has convicted the Petitioner under Section 25(1) b and 26(3) of the Arms Act and sentenced him to undergo R.I. for three years and six months respectively as also a fine of Rs. 2,000/- under each count.

Having gone through the impugned judgment of conviction, I do not find any perversity in the same and, hence, decline to interfere in the matter.

Patna High Court CR. REV. No.762 of 2003 dt.26-06-2015 However, considering the period of custody and the date of occurrence, the sentence is reduced to the period already undergone by the Petitioner. The fine of Rs. 2,000/- is reduced to Rs. 1,000/- (One Thousand) under each count.

With the aforesaid observations, the Revision Application stands dismissed.
