Petitioner is in custody in connection with Vaishali Complaint Case 2A No. 04 of 2007 for the offence under Section 47(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He further submits that the instant complaint case has been registered against this petitioner because he was involved in selling of illegal country made liquor. He next submitted that the petitioner was earlier granted bail on 25.1.2007 by the court below itself but due to the lack of pairvi his bail bond was cancelled on 23.3.2007. No.19287 of 2020(3) dt.03-06-2020 2/2 antecedent and he has surrendered on 6.3.2020 after cancellation of his bail bond, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Excise Court, Vaishali at Hajipur, in connection with Complaint C2A No. 04 of 2007 subject to the condition that the petitioner on release has to render his service as a volunteer for a period of one month in Covid-19 hospital and he is required to report to the distinct Nodal Officer who shall utilize the service of the petitioner.
