ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 26-06-2015 The Petitioner seeks revision of the judgment of conviction dated 25.08.2003 passed by the 8th Additional Sessions Judge, Gaya in Criminal Appeal No. 19 of 2002/11 of 2000, by which he has affirmed the judgment dated 27.01.2000 passed by the Railway Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in R.P.F. Case No. 89 of 1993 (Tr. No. 411 of 2000), by which he has convicted the Petitioner under Section 3 of the Railway Property (Unlawful Possession) Act and sentenced him to undergo R.I. for one and half years.

Having gone through the impugned judgment of conviction, I do not find any perversity in the same and, hence, decline to interfere in the matter.

However, considering the period of custody and

Patna High Court CR. REV. No.703 of 2003 dt.26-06-2015 the date of occurrence, the sentence is reduced to the period already undergone by the Petitioner.

With the aforesaid modification in sentence, the revision application stands dismissed.
