ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 26-06-2015 The Petitioners seek revision of the judgment of conviction dated 18.08.2003 passed by the 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Jamui in Criminal Appeal No. 104 of 1988/39 of 1992, by which he has affirmed the judgment dated 08.04.1988 passed by the Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jamui in G.R. Case No. 890 of 1979, by which he has convicted the Petitioners under Sections 148 and 326/34 IPC and sentenced them to undergo R.I. for one year and three years respectively.
Having gone through the impugned judgment of conviction, I do not find any perversity in the same and, hence, decline to interfere in the matter.
However, considering the period of custody and
Patna High Court CR. REV. No.711 of 2003 dt.26-06-2015 the date of occurrence, the sentence is reduced to the period already undergone by the Petitioners.
With the aforesaid modification in sentence, the Revision Application stands dismissed.
