Mr. Parmanand Kumar, APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 07-04-2021 Heard Mr. Arun Kumar Gupta, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Parmanad Kumar, learned APP for the State through video conferencing.

Petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with Itarhi PS Case No. 169/2020 for the offence registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018, inasmuch as the earlier bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide Cr. Misc. No. 35289/2020 by order dated 21.12.2020 giving liberty to the petitioner that he may renew his prayer for bail afresh after three months. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 10.08.2020.

Having regard to the submissions made by the parties

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23627 of 2021(2) dt.07-04-2021 2/2 and taking into consideration the fact that pursuant to the order dated 21.12.2020, petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail afresh after three months, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, let the petitioner, HARIDWAR PRASAD @ HARDEO SINGH be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge 2nd-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Buxar in connection with Itarhi PS Case No. 169/2020. Needless to say that the parties while furnishing bail bonds will abide by the covid protocol of social/physical distancing.
