The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
It is alleged in the written report that 124 litres of foreign liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. The Seizure list is part of the F.I.R., which shows that illicit liquor was recovered from the courtyard of this petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 25.05.2018.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.64509 of 2018 (2) dt.25-10-2018 2/2 the case, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, West Champaran, Bettiah, in connection with Lauriya P.S. Case No. 130 of 2018. Both the bailers will be close relative of the petitioner.
